Pilates Classes in Studio and Online

Ballet Barre Pilates
Our classes aim to tone, strengthen, and lengthen your muscles, while simultaneously building your stamina and endurance through cardio work. You don't need to be a Prima Ballerina or fitness fanatic to enjoy the rewards of our classes. What sets our barre classes apart is our structured approach, ensuring every muscle gets a strong and effective workout without overusing muscles to the point of disfunction. Our goal is to make each class fun and energizing, so that every client leaves feeling like they've had a great workout and a great time!

Specialized Classes
In our Specialized Individual Classes, we provide one-on-one lessons. These classes are tailored by your instructor to meet your specific needs and goals. They can cover anything from basic beginner sessions to rehabilitation and targeted health and fitness objectives.

Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation
The Pilates method is a useful tool in rehabilitating musculoskeletal disorders, preventing injuries, improving overall health, and sports performance. A systematic review of 24 studies evaluated the method's effectiveness. Results suggest that Pilates is effective for treating conditions such as scoliosis, back pain, ankylosing spondylitis, and breast cancer. It can also prevent injuries in adults, elderly people, and athletes. However, caution is required in interpreting these results due to the high methodological variability, and new studies with standardized evaluation instruments and high methodological quality are needed.

Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is a form of exercise that emphasizes using the body with intention and control. This type of workout relies on bodyweight as resistance, making it a challenging routine that doesn't require any equipment. By moving from one exercise to another and using the strength and control of your body, you can effectively strengthen and lengthen your muscles from head to toe.

PILATES SERVICES
How does it work?
I will be joining you via video call and coaching you through your session at your own pace. The value of having an experienced eye on your movements is what sets live online Pilates apart from recorded classes as you will receive instant feedback during your session which will ultimately result in improved form and greater body awareness.
Preparing for your class
Please wear comfortable, well-fitted clothing during your online fitness lessons. This will enable your instructor to see your body alignment more clearly and provide corrections to your movements easily. Also, try to avoid wearing clothing that is the same color as your mat to prevent any confusion.
Make sure that the space you choose for the class is quiet and well-lit. This will allow you to hear the instructor’s cues clearly and enable the instructor to see you well.
To ensure that your entire mat is visible during the class, please place your device approximately two meters away from you in a landscape position.
